ByeVPN is designed to provide simple local access features on Android. This policy explains what information the app collects, uses, and shares.
Information We Collect
ByeVPN does not require an account and does not ask for your name, email address, phone number, or payment information inside the app.
Current versions of ByeVPN do not collect personal analytics, browsing history, connection logs, or traffic contents.
Local VPN Mode
ByeVPN uses Android's VPN service permission to route traffic through local processing on your device. This mode is used to make the access feature work. The app does not operate a remote VPN server for your traffic.
DNS Options
If DNS is enabled, ByeVPN uses the selected DNS provider while connected. DNS requests may be handled by that third-party DNS provider according to its own policies. You can turn DNS off in the app.
Advertising
ByeVPN uses Google Mobile Ads to show ads inside the app. Google may process advertising identifiers, device information, and related ad interaction data according to Google's own policies. ByeVPN does not sell personal data.
Permissions
- VPN Service: required for local traffic routing.
- Internet: required for network access.
- Notifications: used to show the active connection notification.
- Run at startup: only used if you enable auto-start.
Data Sharing
We do not sell personal data. We do not share personal data because the current app is not designed to collect it.
Children's Privacy
ByeVPN is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Changes
We may update this Privacy Policy as the app changes. The updated policy will be published on this page.
